When there is belief, we value the belief or the faith. There is a request from my patient many a times when they ask, “Who is going to operate”. And it is then with confidence I can reassure them that “I will be the surgeon who will operate” and have a full female staff including the anesthesia team and nurses and assistant. It was never only for the sake of saying it but actually doing it. Now whether it is a case of breast cancer or laparoscopic procedures for the colon the gallbladder or the hernia or anything more; we can offer them the privacy and the treatment they best deserve.
