Dr. Khare was invited as a Breast oncosurgeon for her opinion in a panel discussion held at the “infinity car” showroom. It was a very intense discussion moderated by the social Media Influencer. The message was clearly put forward. All women need screening, regardless of their financial status. Most breast cancers are curable if detected early and the treatment modalities have become minimally invasive. Patients need psychological and mental health support and good friends to support them. The work place has to be compassionate and allow them time off work and logistic support to complete the treatment.
The session was heralded as a great success to acknowledge the role of various allied branches which support the patient welfare.
